The most frequent find in Biarescie are fragments of pottery vessels. All the vessels were made on a potter's wheel, mastered by Biarescie artisans since the founding of the city. First, the potter made a workpiece resembling a simple lump of clay. Then, this workpiece was placed in the centre of the potter's wheel, and the bottom was made with his thumbs. By rotating the wheel and working with his hands, a potter gave the workpiece the required length and shape. Then, the master decorated the vessel with a wavy line or ornament, and dried it in a stove or special kiln.
