An example of a bone artefact of a high artistic level is the tip of a whip handle in the shape of a horse's head. The head and neck are carefully carved and realistic, decorated with a sophisticated ornament. In the mouth, big triangular teeth are fashioned. The eyes are slightly protruding and the convex rear side of the neck mimics a mane. Along the neck, a hole is drilled inside into which the end of the handle was inserted. There are no direct analogues of this find in East Slavic materials.
